Is it a bad time to enlist in the navy and persue a bachelors in nursing im a 23 year old male?

Nurses are officers, so you must have a degree. The best option is to pursue your BSN at a college with an NROTC program. see the link below

Are you crazy! This is great time! Just look in your local classified section! Nurses are at a premium right now! There is a nationwide nursing shortage! Some jobs are giving HUGE premiums for nurses! Big sign-on bonuses, prime hours and letting you pick which departments you want to work in.

Get your degree and you can write your own ticket! Get an advanced degree if you can!

If you are pursuing a BS in nursing maybe you should look into joining the ROTC instead of Active or Reserve status. ROTC even helps pay for your schooling.
