Is it a bad time to enlist in the navy and persue a bachelors in nursing im a 23 year old male? Nurses are officers, so you must have a degree. The best option is to pursue your BSN at a college with an NROTC program. see the link below Are you crazy! This is great time! Just look in your local classified section! Nurses are at a premium right now! There is a nationwide nursing shortage! Some jobs are giving HUGE premiums for nurses! Big sign-on bonuses, prime hours and letting you pick which departments you want to work in. If you are pursuing a BS in nursing maybe you should look into joining the ROTC instead of Active or Reserve status. ROTC even helps pay for your schooling. |
