A bachelor's degree in nursing with some on the job time will be sufficient for you to be a RN (Registered Nurse). A bachelor's degree in psychology is worth very little. You must have a doctor's degree before you are considered knowledgeable in the field of psychology.

psychology:
intern gets $35,000 to $50,000 a year
Registered Psychologist $50,000 to $90,000 a year
Director of a social service agency $70,000 to $80,000 a year
Nurse:
Registered Nurse $35,000 to $50,000 a year
Unit Manager $45,000 to $60,000 a year
Educator $50,000 to $65,000 a year

these are the different positions in each field with salary..generally psychology is better and has more money...
O AND ALSO FOR A HIGHER POSITION U NEED A BETTER DEGREE AND EXPERIENCE

You'll find a job easier with a bachelor's in nursing. My sister got her bachelor's in psychology and she couldn't find a decent job. Now that she has her master's though, she is doing well. If it wasn't for having a master's degree, she would still be making 9 bucks an hour.
