Do you have to start out in a hospital after graduating with a Bachelor's in Nursing? |
I am in clinicals at the hospital and honestly hate it. I love the patients, hate the atmosphere/stress of the hospital and the bickering stressed out nurses make it even worse. Do I have to start out in the hospital as I so commonly hear ? I'd take a cut in pay to work in a clinic. nope......you can go anywhere you can get hired......... no you could go to a nursing home, clinic, md office, etc. As far as the stressed out bickering nurses, if this bothers u then you are in the wrong field. All Nurses are stressed and overworked. Typically, a year or two on an inpatient med/surg unit is how most nurses get started. But nothing says that is the path that you must take. Clinics often do pay somewat less than inpatient nursing. |
