Questions about spiritual nursing care...?

i'll be conducting a thesis about the way staff nurses render spiritual nursing care for their patients.. could anybody please help me formulate questions/survey regarding this..? i keep on doing it all over again because my questions are so vague.. pls... thnks..

Maybe your first question should be asking if anyone believes in spiritual healing of any kind.
The questions following will then come if you ask yourself and then answer positively and negatively.
Here is a starter:
Recently I was in hospital with drips and cardiac machine hoked up to me. My wife came visiting.She is Catholic and fairly religious being a Filipina :-)
I said to her why was her God making me so ill .. a nurse close by said perhaps God has found a way to keep you alive by your being here .... OK not spiritual healing but a few days later a senior nurse told me to think positively not negative about my illness. "It will help you fight the problem" and it has.
