Nursing care plans. I need help?

I am a nursing student and I am looking for a good care plan book. The book must have nursing interventions with the scientific rationales. The rationales must be patho based.

Care plan books got me thru nursing school!

My mom bought one in a yard sale for 25 cents and it was the book I used the most as an undergrad!

I reccomend Nurse's Pocket guide -Marylin Doenges

I reccomend you get one that is pocket size. Keep it with you while you do your clinicals. Its a MUST!

Have you tried a book website? Amazon.com has some good nursing books.

There's so much too choose from...depends some on what kind of nursing you're doing as well.....I'm in long term care and our goals and interventions are very different than say in the hospital....but if you go to www.amazon.com.....I checked and they have a great variety of not only books but prices.....hope this helps you and best of luck!:)

Carpenito has an average book for care plans, but as for rationales, you can find those in any of your nursing books, as long as you cite your source.
i suggest going to Powell's Book Store, or look on Ebay. or look up some care plan websites.
GOOD LUCK.. those care plans are like root canals, but it is important that we learn what interventions to do and why we are doing them.
