Grudges Make Passion?

Isn't a grudge not always a bad thing? Don't grudges somethngs make a person passionate about a career because they see something that is broken? Like I had a grudge against a Therapist who called me a criminal everyday for two years, so I became a Therapist. I just read about lady who became a Nurse because she had a grudge against a nurse who treated her father badly.

makes the person feel better about what they experienced.

Yes ..in that context you turned a negative into a positive. That is the ultimate proper way of handling conflicts. It became a motivation and you used it productively. If only everyone would learn to do that rather than striking back, seeking revenge or dwelling on it the rest of their lives. There are lessons in everything negative we face in life if we don't allow emotions to block us from seeing them.
Congratulations!!

I think you answered your own question but I wouldn't necessarily call it a grudge if you have taken it and turned it into something positive. The word grudge has negative connotations whereas, you have turned your feelings into a positive experience.
