Single and wanting a baby what should i do????

Hello, I am 23 years old and i am wanting a baby but there is no man in site, I live in a small town where there is like no men at all it feels like. I am a nurse at the local hospital and i have a career a good one and a place to live 3 bedroom house. I am definately wanting a big family but i dont want to have them later in life.... I want to start soon because I want more than one, and i want at least one or two before i am 30, what should i do.

What's the hurry? You're only 23. You can wait until 25 and still squeeze two out before you're 30. I'd definitely wait. Obviously the best situation for mother and baby is to have a daddy in the picture. I don't think it's very fair to your potential child to intentionally get pregnant with no daddy around. It's not like you've accidentally gotten pregnant and the dad won't stick around, you're talking about bringing a child into a single parent household when it's totally unnecessary.

Seriously, give it a couple of years. Who knows? You could meet the perfect man tomorrow!

Babies are alot of work alone!! Not that it can't be done, but you are still young enough that even if you wait a few years, you can still definitely have two by the time your 30.

Well, you could always adopt. So many loving children need good homes and since u are single that could be something u might want to look into.

You're still plenty young to wait to have kids. Don't rush into making a mistake you'll regret once you meet your future husband.

Try online dating to find a potential father for your baby. You may have to date someone for a while. You are still young enough to wait to have kids. Even if you waited 2 yrs you would have kids before 30. If that doesnt work for you go to a sperm bank.

i'm the same age and i want a baby too. then i remind myself that the decision to have a child is irreversible. i think you should wait until the right man comes along and start a family together. if you really want one now, you can just find a man to "donate" and have one on your own, but it will be difficult. not something i suggest at 23.
