Is it possible for me to become a physician someday although we're not that rich?

I'm presently a nursing student...but it's not my real line. I just dispense with my family's decision and peer pressure. All I want since childhood is to be a medical doctor. Until now, my heart melts for that career.

I don't know your situation, but I agree with what others have said. I come from a middle class family and I was able to put myself through medical school. Its not like it used to be. There are financial resources available to pay for medical school. The most important thing to ask yourself is if you really want to do it. If you want to become a doctor and are pretty good with the sciences you can do it. Just remember it is a VERY, VERY BIG commitment that you will be making and one that you will have to keep for a long, long time. Medical education is a very long road and the debt load you will put yourself under will be staggering. I just graduated in June and although I think it was worth it, I have asked myself more than once if it was. I owe nearly $225,000 in student loans and still have residency to go through before I can really start paying them off. It can be a hard thing to look at. How do you feel about living on a tight student budget for the next 8 to 10 years while your friends are making money and enjoying their lives? These are just some of the things you should think about. Anything is possible if you really want it, but you have to really want it and know that it comes with a price. I wish you the best.

Actually I want to be a doctor(physician) too, I think you can get a lot of different student loan, or a scholarship!! But you will need to work really hard for it.

Many people who are not from wealthy families become doctors. Some financial aid is available, and loans to cover the difference are easy to get. Follow your dream.

you can be whatever you wish to be. Only Question is, will you commit to it until you archive your goal? 90% of the people didn't make it because they quit, not because they couldn't.
