Marine biologist or something eles?? |
ok i am in love with water animals and swimming and oceans ....and everything about the ocean....any way i heard they make between 19,000-26,000 a year..is this true....and my other career options would be teacher, nurse/doctor In all honesty it really depends on the type of Marine based job you have. For example you pay will probably be different if you work in a zoo/aquarium vs working on research for a university. Thats so awesome! Going into a job with marine mammals! sounds familiar, hmmm, me! lol! I think marine biology would be really awesome, but thats just studying them out in the wild. Unless thats your thing, to observe them in there natural habitat. There is also marine mammal trainer, where of course, you work at a park like SeaWorld, and get to work with both wild and captive marine life. there are certain websites that you can go on and click on a certain job and a certain area and they will tell you how much they make and i've seen up to 70,000 for a marine biologist before.... Sadly its true. You don't do it for the money you do it because its something you love and you are making a difference. When considering possible career choices pick something you enjoy doing and have passion for. Remember money doesn't buy happiness. Becoming a a full time proffessor pays a lot better though. |
