What are the best careers for women who want to spend more time with their families?

To add to this, I am looking for a career that pays very well for example dental hygiene or nursing. Please share any experience in any career field :)

Nursing is great. It pays well, takes only two years to get the education and you can work Baylors at most hospitals which is two 12.5 hr shifts and they pay you for 36 hours. Its usually night shift, or weekends but its nice to have 5 days off a week and make $30-40 an hour.

Nursing is a great career choice for working moms. You may be able to work nights or part-time. There's lots of room for flexibility in scheduling and there are always nursing jobs no matter where you live. It also may depend on what specialty you choose.

I stayed home and did childcare while my children were young, I wouldn't have given up that time for anything.

Teaching- you get the same schedule as you school age kids and two months off for the summer. The pay is not great start at 38 K +/-

My daughter is taking an online medical billing course. She has her first client lined up and will have a home business while her child goes to school.

Medical billing can pay in the six figures with a few busy doctors as clients.
