i dont know what to do..i enjoy dealing with people..i am a paralegal..but i am not making the money i want.. i just feel like i am more than what i am right now..i want success..i want respect..i want my daughter to be able to have a good future..and not have to worry about dealing with azzholes bosses...when she grows up..i am thinking about nurising but am i really suppose to do that....i wish i knew what my calling was... nursing... rewarding (can sometimes be a bit taxing on the emotions, depending on the type of patients you deal with), very time consumning, very well respected occupation. -social worker sounds good for you., Try another firm. Just because you aren't making what you feel you should in your current profession, doesn't mean another job won't meat those requirements. You have to do what you will enjoy. Everything takes hard work but in the long run it is worth it. Nursing is a very good career to get into. There are so many different paths you can go down once you are a nurse. What ever you choose make sure you choose it for what you really want and desire, it's not just about the money, make sure you are happy at your job because it's were you are the most time of the day! Also, changing careers means paying tuition for your education. Make sure you are paying for something your going to use and that your going to be able to pay back. Go for nursing, you'll get to deal with people in a setting when they are normally very stressed out, and you can help to make it a pleasurable and positive experience for them, and possibly even save lives. You just can't go wrong with nursing. There will always be a demand for nurses, pay is good, and you'll be able to help people. Why not? Consider checking out some assessment testing to help you decide what career you might feel more fulfilled in (both emotionally and financially) |
