Nursing or physiotherapy? Whats the best? Most enjoyable?Best pay?Best career?

Well, I admit I am biased (an RN who works in a hospital, labor & delivery), and to be perfectly honest, I don't know alot about physiotheraphy. What I can tell you about nursing is that there is by far, more job security - huge nursing shortage that is only going to increase over the next 10 years. Pay is excellent - starting pay for RNs is approximately $40-$50k per year (depends on work setting). The very best thing about nursing is the endless avenues or specialty areas that are available to you, so if you work for awhile and find you don't like what you're doing, there is always something else you can do. Clinics, hospitals, nurse educators, nurse managers, case managers, consultants, home care, nursing home, travel nursing, etc. Opportunities are endless.
