Nursing Good career choice?

I have worked 5 years in the medical field and I begin nursing school this August. It is an excellent career choice. It has excellent pay and employee benefits, as well as personal satisfaction of knowing you are doing something to enhance someone elses life. A job of true servitude to your fellow man. The only draw backs are the stress and long hours. But nothing is more rewarding than knowing you helped to save someones life, or made someone life better.

I am getting ready to work towards being an RN this May 31 (Summer school) I might just go for LPN then let my employer, once I get working as LPN, pay for my RN college. It will take me one more year but it will get me going. Report It

yes, but it can be stressful (patients and stuff) and u get paid a lot too

What about Military nurses, you can get out on your own a free education. Of course wait until after the war thing is over. Think who your patients would be. Young guys!
