Tell me plz the kind of health requirements I should have if I want to go for nursing career ? Here in my state (NC) they only require all childhood immunizations and a TB screen. It does help to be in great shape . . . heavy lifting is sometimes required in nursing. You will also need the Hep B vaccine, and current tetnus wouldn't be a bad idea. Learn to function without sleep for all those times you are called back in to work, and the times natural disatsters strike and no one else can get to the facility to releive you, or you are one of the few that can get there. in uk, some kind of a level or other relevant level 3 qualification such as advanced health and social care, then 2 uni 2 do a nursing degree, tho sum unis dont specify qualifications, u can go straight 2 the course with just GCSE or level 2 (NVQ) qualification Usually they would test you for communicable diseases like hepatitis, some schools have height requirements, others would have you undergo a very thorough physical examination afterwhich youll get vaccinated (again for hepa) |
