How Long before a Certified Nursing Assistant Certificate expires in the state of FL.? |
Need to go back to work and I haven't liked what i've been doing for the last decade. I found an old CNA cert. from 1994. Not sure what to do wih it........... Any answers welcome.....Thank You.. Your expired. They expire within 2 years of receiving it. Then should be renewed. Keep it, it will show proof that you were certified and it counts towards experience. I'm not sure but I think you can challenge the board of nursing if it has not been expired for a long time but, I think it may have. It would not hurt to try and maybe you can just test out without having to go thru classes again. Call the board of nursing just to be sure. Sounds like you need to renew that and see what hours you need for your classes. As you need class time in certain areas to count as education in this field. |
