Late period && negative clinic urine test.?

im only 16 so im very concerned about my situation right now....i got my period on march 30th and i didnt get it again until may 1st. thats a 32-day cycle in between. but im normally 26-28 day cycle. that means i was late for atleast 4-6 days, so i went in for a pregnancy test on the 30th of april when i was already 4-6 days late, and the test came back negative. the next day i got my period, which was the 1st of this month. my period has always seemed normal until i had unprotected sex on april 6th. the nurse at the clinic told me it wasnt possible to get pregnant a day after my period ended (the 5th) & that i had nothin to worry about. but i've jus read that if a urine test comes back negative in jus days of a late period, then it still is a possibility that i could be pregnant. i dont know if im paranoid but my stomach seems a little bigger... if i actually was pregnant then right about now i'd be a month and some weeks but ur stomach doesnt get big that soon. sum1 plz help me....

you probably are not pregnant if your period did come. putting your body through stress of thinking you are pregnant can stop your period. the body is so weird that if you start to believe that you are pregnant the body will start to act as if it is. So be cool and calm down

Ok first things first "calm down". If you get yourself into a tizzy you will cause so many more issues for yourself healthwise. The menstrual cycle is a crazy thing. It changes over time and at will. For a long time I was every 26-28 days like you. Then one day it starting coming earlier (lasted for a year). Then I went to every 30-35 days. It shouldn't change too much but it can. Remember that hormones have effects on it. Also being sick, strenous physical activity can effect it as well. No your stomach would not start showing this early. Remember the mind is a powerful weapon and you can convince yourself that you are pregnant and cause your body to react accordingly. If you like you can take another one now (5/26/2007) and see what it says since you had sex over a month ago. If you are it would show up.

Calm done i think that your not pregnant and it is normal for period it some times come early and some times come late it depends on your physical status may be there is some thing bothering you or you are worry about some thing. if you were pregnant your stomach will be bigger after the forth month not the 01st . may be it a hormonal reason especially after unprotected sex

I don't think you are pregnant. You're right, your stomach wouldn't have started to grow this early on- so follow that thread of rationality and calm down a bit. You should go back to the clinic if you trust them there and discuss your birth control options.

have another pregnancy test to help reassure yourself!!
then talk to someone about birthcontrol options, and i'm sorry for sounding like a boring old momma but the only sensible form of birth control to use when you're not in a long term relationship is a condom, there are too many nasty STD's out there never mind getting pregnant.
and all the guys who say they can't use one are really not worth sleeping with!!!
