What are the advantages and disadvantages of a clinic nursing? |
thankz If you are referring to a nurse working in a clinic, some. advantages might be that they are usually Monday thru friday jobs and day shift, with weekends and holidays off. You see different patients most everyday and the paperwork is done as you see each patient. Some disadvantages are usually a lower pay scale than hospitals and nursing homes, patients tend to be grumpy since most clinics involve a long wait to be seen and peolpe don't like to wait, especially when they are ill, and you don't often see the progress a patient makes from the care that you give to them. Can you expound on the subject "clinic nursing"? A clinical nurse specialist (CNS) is an advanced practice nurse, usually with a Master of Science in Nursing. A CNS is similar to a nurse practitioner, however their focus is based on clinical expertise with influence in 3 spheres: patient/family, nurse-nurse and system. |
