What should i wear on the first day of college? |
i'll be taking my first college courses next month and i'm very very excited and nervous about it! what should i wear to my classes? i'm majoring in nursing and want to make a good impression for my professors. my hair is currently dark brown with pink highlights. you think my hair will put my professors in shock? also, should i wear makeups to the classes? :/ i think you should re-dye your hair to a more natural color - you'll be majoring in nursing not cosmetiology. also, start reading books that are related to your courses to expand your knowledge. trust me, college students are too concern with their grades to even pay attention to what you wear. you would much wish to be smartest one in your classes instead of being the prettiest one :) The same thing that you would think of wearing if it was your first day in high school.. Don't worry about it. It's better to wear clothes that makes you comfortable. Most people in college don't care about what they wear anymore. That's the past (highschool). College people care more about how to finish school as soon as possible. i think your hair will give the impression that you are immature and unprofessional which probably won't earn alot of first impression points with your teachers. i also think you should worry much less about how you look than what you are learning, you aren't in high school anymore, what you wear isn't the important thing....this is actually about your education. Ummm.....clothes would be a good thing. JK, probably something comfortable since you'll be going around to a bunch of different classes, and as long as your hair isn't a distraction to other students then your hair should be fine. Good Luck! wear what you like College isn't high school, where people judge you on what your wearing. Wear some good, comfortable athletic shoes so your feet don't get tired. Bring a snack to eat if you don't have time for lunch. Anything that your comfortable with, remember you are there for an education, to learn, it's not like your interviewing for a job. To leave a good impression for your professors, I think you should show more of initiative and participation. Me Baby! Wear jeans. Simple top. Flip flops. Tag your hair with some spray dye and get the lip gloss and lip liner out. Hopefully Clothes. College is not a fashion show. Wear something clean, that does make any noise ( ie chains or bells), something comfortable, and don't look like a clown. So when you about to enter the Nursing Program, say goodbye to those pink highlights and long nails. The Nursing program are really picky, so do your best to get ahead of the game. ok I'm an expert now you should ware makeup now just cause yr going for a nurse doesn't mean you cant look fab so ware a baby tee and a mini skirt some heels an awesome backpack and your hair will look good with it Wear something that suits you well and that you feel comfortable wearing...and don't make such a big deal of it. Just relax and im sure you will have a great first day! Wear what you are comfortable wearing, the only way to impress your professors is to do well in the class. Take good notes and study hard. WEAR PANTS (NOT DENIM) THAT SHOW DA BOOTY CRACK, WIF A G-STING HANGIN', HIGH HEELS,HALTER TOP, GLITTERY-PINK LIPSTICK AND A BETTIE PAGE HAIR-DO |
