I am a girl and I am planning going to san jose stare, in nursing

All the answers are appreciated but please try not to repeat other people answer

Don't RUDE... I AM GOING TO COLLEGE TO STUDY NOT HAVING FUN

OK here is my short list:

-TV
-Computer
-flash drive to save files on (especially if you don't have a printer)
-Anything from home such as posters pictures and other trinkets to make your room feel more "home like"
-Camera
-2 sets of sheets for your bed
-enough towels to last you till you do laundry next
-bottled water
-Hoodies
-stamps

You can also find good lists at places like Bed Bath and Beyond, Meijer, or other places where you buy dorm supplies.

Best of luck!

condoms

clothes
food
blankets
personal things
pictures of your family

I recommend a book called How to Survive Your Freshman Year. It's by students, for students, and has a whole chapter on this.
Some of their suggestions: blender, sleeping bag, pjs, towels, bedding, pop-tarts, no-doz, bible, calculator, headphones, laptop, shower shoes...
Good luck in college!

carry a lot of condoms. Lol

What you bring is really up to you.
When I moved into the dorm, I needed these items:
an alarm clock, bedding, cooking utensils, several lamps, a personal computer, plants, plates and silverware, a radio, a shower curtain, a TV, a telephone, towels, and of course the personal items that help you feel at home.
Our dorms were set up like a 4 bedroom apartment (each roomie w/their on room, with 2 bthrooms... I dont know how your dorm will be but If you will be living in an apartment style, you might want to go ahead and bring the stuff for your room, then discuss the things you need for the common areas with your roommates. Some residents prefer to split the costs of common area items with their roommates. If your dorm is more on the 2 beds to a room style, you probably wont need all the things I mentioned.

anyway.. hope this helps!! good luck :)

Not too much the dorms are really small and you will have to share with someone. so just your necessities. good luck
