Jobs during college?

I want to get certified like a massage therapist or nursing assistant. Which one do you prefer? Or any other suggestions would be nice?

I'm only in community college and planning to transfer to a 4-year school in 2 years..

A job while in college builds character. It also helps you to balance out your coursework and "discretionary" time.

As for which area to pursue, I would encourage you to seek out individuals in both professions, massage therapy and nursing, and learn more about each. The information you can gather will be far more important in the decision making process. Learn what it's like in a day in the life of both, then figure out which will work best for you.

On a timing note, if you want to go and be a nursing assistant, it will take you longer and more courses to get there. The health care profession is highly regulated and as a result your investment of "time-to-job" will be more significant than as a massage therapist.

I hope this helps!

definently get a job during college, its probably the smartest thing to do.

uh.ace which but you like or does not do it .but in your own opinion .

I would do it. I go with whatever can relate to what you want to do in the long run, like after you finish your 4 year degree. If you want to be nurse, I would go for the nursing assistant...this would give you hands on experience.
