What are the reasons for choosing Nursing as a career? |
I'm currently doing a research for my subject regarding the reasons why most of Filipinos today choose Nursing as a career and what are the effects of it to all the senior high school students who are going to college. Hope you could help me. I really need your opinion. Thanks in advance! nurisng is a field that you can grow outward from, cause the hospitals are getting bigger and more technology, and nursing is a field you will never get laid off from. my mom works for the state now, she started as a nurse aide back in the 70's, she makes really good money. its a field that will always be there. if you are a filipino, like me, obviously because it is in demand ( the dollars, of course, plays a role...) if you are going to ask or make a survey on the students taking up nursing today almost half of them will tell you that it is because of money..' some will say that they are just forced to take up the nursing course eventhough they like other course and they think they will excel in that course... some of my classmates belong on this group... and others are just so loyal in this country that they take up nursing because they like to help people... nga pala... some of my classmates din said that they don't know what to take so they take the risk to enroll as nursing student... me?! i don't actually know why i took up nursing but i am beginning to like it..! There may be one reason that in philipions most of the nurses are in any families. Its the common where the carrier of the most of the family members, other are following the same. we can take the example if in some family a father is a doctor he try to make his best efforts to make the Doctor to his son/daughter. |
