the college application season is now here, and i'm stressing on my personal statement. HELP?! would greatly be appreciated :)

personal statement: " Tell us about the world you come from and how your environment has shaped your aspirations and overall self?

top 5 choices:
UCLA
UC DAVIS
UC IRVINE
UCSF
UCSB

SAT: 1880
overall gpa: 3.6
-volunteer at hospital/church/nursing home
-tennis
-key club

Start off by telling them about youself and who was an influence on your life, and how they influenced your decisions to work/ volunteer.
Are you a well rounded person, ie are you involved in sports, clubs, play a musical instrument, what you like to do in your spare time? What clubs and things you would like to get involved in in college.
