What college and course should i take??

I'm and incoming 4th year student and I live in the Philipines and I'm confused on what college should I go I want a famous college but Manila scares me(i feel like going to robbed there) and I dont want to go to UP because I think I'm not going to last there because I'm lazy.
I'm still have no idea on what course should I take. Everyone in my family say that i should take nursing because my Aunts in Canada and at the States can help me get a job right away. But I dont like it and I dont want to do something I do not like plus I dont like wearing white. I want something that when I graduate I can land a job right away. Pleasse HELP im really confused.

There are no other options now a days if you are in the Philippines except, to take Nursing education. Try to love the Nursing course and by the time you graduated, eject yourself out of the Philippines.Because of too much Politics, the economy of the Philippines is unstable. The Government can't hardly give decent jobs for almost 100million Filipino population. To tell you frankly, THE PHILIPPINES WILL NO LONGER BE PEACEFUL, so therefore the economy will be put in vain. Peaceful in a sense that because their are 3,500 island and islet, it is very impossible to unite the Filipino people living in these thousands of island. The result of this situation is a tremendous challenges to connect the natural GAP of communication that will normally act as a varier for the long been aspired UNITY which i think is the best solution for National progress. But take note, this is only one of the numerous obstacles...

Well, you have a couple of options. You can find a local college and just take the basic courses required by all degrees or you can postpone college and work for a while till you figure out what you really want to do. If you just want job security, there are lots of non-degreed jobs you can do, like plumbing, electricians, etc.
