Do i have to become a nurse to be able to teach nursing?

I am in college at the present time working on becoming a RN but I also want to teach. I wanted to know if I have to practice nursing first and then work on getting my degree in order to teach nursing.

yes, you have to practice first. you will also need at the minimum a bachelors degree (this would only allow you to teach at a some community colleges), but usually you would need a masters (and occasionally a phd)

YES!

What kind of instructor would you be without the experience. You have to really know what your talking about. Books always don't say it all.
Good Luck
