All anxous about nursing school?

Really fearing nursing school?
I feel like I am going to have a anxiety attack about entering nursing?
school. I am attending a expensive private school this far, and hae taken out 14,000 inloans already. I still have 3 years left. I am nervous if I fail out my life will be ruined. I want it but sometimes I dont have a lot of confidence, and this is my worst enemy. I hear stories about people failing out. Any R.N.s advise for someone who was always an average student not great at math. I get upset because I feel certain people in my family do not believe in me. I didn't always do well in community college, but I also had to work full time and pay my own way unlike them. I have had a lot of family issues. I am probably avoiding them while in school.

Wow! this is a loaded question! First, I think your stress level would be 10x less if there wasn't so much money involved!! Then failure wouldn't seem so catastrophic!! I graduated from nursing school with an associates degree, from a community college!!! I make the SAME money as those nurses that graduated from prestigious private, 4 year programs, AND with NO DEBT!!!! Especially if you're doing this on your own, working full-time. Reconsider your decision if possible!! You'll be glad you did and maybe you won't be a nervous wreck!!! Hang in there sweetie!! The end result is worth it!! I've been a nurse for 15 years, and I've never regretted a single minute of it!!!!!!! You can always transfer your credits from one school to another, so you won't lose anything! It's a win-win situation!!
