Nursing school question?

Is a GPA of 3.42 good enough to get into nursing school? I am a single mom so I don't have any time left to participate in volunteer work or extracurricular activities and I wonder if my GPA and a pretty good essay will be enough. Oh and this is my cumulative GPA for my first year of college.

Yes! It's definitely good enough for nursing school. Are you considering to apply for a 2-year associate degree in nursing? Or are you considering to transfer to the nursing program in your college?

If you are in a 4-year college and your college has a nursing program, then start approaching the admissions office to find out how you can transfer into the nursing program. This way you can get good financial assistance/aid to complete a BS in nursing.
