How do i get into nursing, plz help? |
hi im 19 years old and have no former qualifications but have just signed up for an access to nursing course that begins in a months time, my bestfriend who is 18 and has 4 gcse's at grades, D,D,F,C, also wants to be a nurse but has been reccomended doing a 2year course in health and social care, I really want to know why it is that we have both been reccomended a different course, is it because i dont have GCSE's and the college doesnt think im able to do what my bestfriend does?...or is the course i am doing harder?...could someone please let me know as i find this quite dis-heartening! like the college is saying i couldnt do the course she is doing, and that she doesnt need to bother with the course i am doing as she has GCSE's? Well maybe she expressed different goals nad therefore is taking a different course. |
