Why go to college? |
is college any better then vocational school and if yes then why? I have gone to dental assisting school found out I don't like it then went into Medical Assisting School never finished it? I mean now I'm interested in massage therapy and like PTA and hopefully go into a community college I'm like confused and all I want is the best decision what in the world should I end up doing? I wouldn't mind going back to school but thing is I don't want to fail either I want to be able to do better in school and work hard and become a raving success but I also don't want to be spending soo much money and time in school I want to be able to finish and start a good life afterwards and make a good descent income is College really the answer and also I wanted something now like maybe becoming a Nursing Assistant is that any good? is that a starting point I should think about the class is very cheap and easy and also just takes about 6 weeks should I go for it?? Whoa.... so you want something really cheap and fast? With that sort of thinking, you'll never get any where. What do you really enjoy... working with children, working outdoors, working with animals, working in a career that involves water, working with forest rangers, is it in fashion design, hair stylist, .... what? Follow your heart... not just what is easy or sounds good on paper. Wow your paragraph is confusing and you have no sentences. College is always better than Vocational school anyday. College is expensive and it takes time ans hard work to do it. Nursing Assistants dont make alot of money you know. The reason why is because they have like 6 month progarms for that-nurses are the ones that make the money. You should try to figure out what you want to do before you take any more college classes. If you are interested in a health field, then try to find people in different health careers and find out what they like and dislike about their jobs. You are better off getting at least an associates degree than trying to find a short certification program. Nursing Assistants don't make very much money, and probably will not make a very good career for you. In the hospital I work at Nursing Assistants start at $10/hr. I know some nursing homes start Nursing Assistants at $14-$15/hr, but it is very hard work. |
