How to get into dental nursing? |
I would really like to train as a dental nurse but have been told by 1 college that i need to be working in a denist to get onto a course but i cant get a job because i have no qualifications. Can anyone tell me how i can get in? Go to any local or nearby Dental Surgery and ask if you can volunteer to learn (just to start off with) or start at reception - most do. my daughter went to college on dental nurse course and within 6 weeks she had a placement with the dentist she's with now.who consequently has taken her on.she now goes to college of a night, twice a month. the college is the alder centre in liverpool, why dont you give them a ring ,they are very helpful.and i am sure they were girls on her course who had no qualifications. good luck heather. |
