Please help me with my question regarding college... really sad at this point? |
i'm currently graduated from community college with GPA 2.68. however,i'm trying to get into nursing school, but my GPA isn't high enough for me to get in. The average GPA for nursing school need to be at least 3.0-3.4 so.. here is my question... Is there anyway to improve my GPA??? i really want to get in to nursing school.... it's really depressing... please help me with my question.. thank you The only way to increase your GPA would be to take more classes and ACE them. It is really hard to raise GPA but so easy to drop it, unfortunately. Or you could apply to a nursing school that takes lower grades. It's always better to get in with a good GPA though. Good luck. They need more nurses out there. You can elect to re-take courses you have a poor grade in, which would ultimately boost your GPA if you do better the second time around. However, you have to pay again for the courses... Did you try applying to nursing schools? It's possible, with an interview, you could still get in (on a conditional or probationary status). Don't despair. The only sure fire way improve your GPA is to do better in your studies. However, you could also try talking to your professors about possibly doing some extra credit, to bring it up. |
