ADN - Nursing School Advice..? |
After applying 4 times at three different colleges and taking all the required pre-requisites as well as all the RN entrance exams I finally received a call from a college asking if I was still interested in going into RN school this fall. Of course, I was thrilled. Now, I am wondering if I can handle full time work and Full Time nursing school. Since all my pre-reqs are done the first semester will only be 3 classes. Has anyone pulled this off'? My job will let me work weekend night shift. The switching from nights to days might be hard but I am determined to finish Rn school. I have been trying a very long time now. I am finally in..What are your suggestions? I am a single mom. My daughter is entering college This fall also so she may be able to get a part time job to help financially. The school work load is the concern. I have only 3 core Rn classes that I will be doing this fall. Please tell me what you have been through. With good time management it can be done. You can also get a tape recorder and record the lectures. On your way to and fro school and work, you can listen to them. |
