I am going to college in August.? |
i am going to be going to college in august and i am considering going into the nursing or medical feild. what are some pros and cons of nursing i know that you are going to have to deal with blood and things like that but what else is there? Just a thought, but you might want to get your CNA certificate before deciding whether you really want to do nursing or not. That is generally only a week or two or classes, and it gives you good experience working in nursing homes. Nurses are underappreciated (financially), like Teachers and Social Workers. Pros and Cons of Becoming A Nurse Pros Nursing requires alot of science, if this is not a strong point for you it may be a tough road. Also knowing many nurses, it requires you to be able to seperate yourself from their pain. The hours can be long but the rewards are great! I guess pros would be you will be helping others, probalby doing something you like. Cons, working longer hours, having to maybe witness death on a frequent basis. |
