Loma Linda School of Nursing!! Help!!!?

I would like to attend that school and get my bachelor's in nursing after I'm done at my 2 year college. So, I will need to transfer. Does anyone know what the average gpa is for those who transfer in? And if they have a wait list? Is it VERY hard to get into that school? I want to know so that I'll know whether to keep my interest in that school or if I should keep looking at other ones. But I would love to go to Loma Linda. Any opinions would really help. Thanks!!

I don't know about Loma Linda specifically as I go to nursing school in Texas, however I would like to offer a little advice anyways. Apply to every program you can. You don't want to box yourself in to just one or two choices. Try to apply to at least 2, but 3 or 4 would be better.

Secondly, no matter where you are trying to get into, acceptance into nursing school tends to be very competitive. So keep your gpa up, especially that of your science classes. Most programs won't even look at a gpa below 3.5, so keep up those grades!

Since Loma Linda is your dream choice, I would contact them and ask what they are looking for. Don't just find out what the minimum requirements, but try and find out what is their "ideal" candidate.

Best of luck to you!
