Nursing? needs help and advise!? |
i am wanting to become a Paediatric Nurse when i am older. i still need to talk to someone who can help and guide me down the right path, but just so that i know what i am talking about, please could you help me by just lettin me know what kind of things i need to study, and whether i need to go to university or college, or whether there is a nursing school that you have to go to learn? You need to study science based GCES, get good A-Levels and then apply at a local University. Go to NHS Careers (find them on the web) and they will send you a full info pack... Yes, you will need to go to a state approved nursing school in your state in order to become a pediatric nurse. You can do a google search for "state board of registered nursing" and insert your state. This will guide you into finding colleges in your area that have nursing programs. Once you find the college, set up a meeting with a counselor to discuss what you need to do to apply for the nursing program. Typically you'll have at least a year or more of pre-reques before you can apply. |
