Degrees related to nursing? |
I'm currently in my 2nd year of college, and have decided to pursue nursing.. however I'm really concerned about the required science classes such as anatomy and biological chemistry and microbiology.. since i am not that great in the science department, but I know i would really love something in the nursing field. Does anyone know of a degree in some type of nursing that doesn't require THAT much of science? Thanks If you want the best possible career opportunities in nursing, get the BS. Apply yourself to the science courses and you'll probably do fine, just like everyone else. You don't have to be at the very top of your class in every discipline, just completent. If you want a BS in Nursing, you'll need anatomy, physiology, organic chemistry, basic statistics, etc., - these are usually required prerequisites before you actually enter the nursing program. You don't need calculus and advanced physics. |
