Why do many people want to take up nursing?

why do people whant to take up nursing even if they graduate in college they want to take up nursing..

Nursing is one of the most in demand professions, and one of the most highly paid.

People generally like to help others and feel needed.
The illusion and constant medical dramas on TV also
further promote nursing in a positive light.
The pay is OK, but the emotional trauma is never worth
what you get paid.
Nursing usually gives you a platform to move into something else.
