I am a nurse and I know why I became a nurse. And it's not because I like taking care of people. It is a very rewarding career financially and professionally. It has many aspects that really don't have much to do with taking care of people. I can't tell you why you want to be a nurse.

If you don't know why you want to be a nurse then maybe it isn't the right field for you. Only you would know and be able to explain why you chose that career.

I agree with mybro22. If you don't know why you want to be a nurse, you probably shouldn't apply for the field.
When did you decide you wanted to be a nurse? Why? Was there an "ah-ha" moment that made you want to be a nurse? Is it for the money?
