How long does it take to become a registered nurse from a comm. college? Once you get into the actual nursing program, it's about two years. However, with your pre-reqs figured in, it could take 3 - 4 1/2 years. It just depends on how many classes you take per semester. The program is usually a full two years of study and clinical rotations. I have a link below that provides information. Once you get in, it's about two years. It's the getting in that's hard. Some schools have waiting lists. Some go off your grades from your pre-req's. |
