College...what to do???

wow..where to start..? ok I CRAVE knowledge. yeah that sounds weird but its true. i LOVE learning. i did absolutely terrible in school but as much as i did bad i loved learning knew things. its something i can never have enough of. i'm trying to figure out what to do with college. i'm going for nursing and eventually occupational therapy but i also want to take a writing course because i love writing. and i love singing sooooo much. but sometimes i just want to sit down and read a dictionary. just because i like knowing what the words mean. there is so many things i want to go to school for and so many things i want to learn and know more about. so how can i possibly do it all? it would be so hard and take so much time and i have a lot of problems when it comes to getting overwhelmed. I AM OVERWHELMED WITH EVERYTHING I WANT TO DO.

Well first thing is that if you go to College for "Occupation Therapy", these will become your CORE set of courses you will take. There will be some "elective" courses that you will need to take which could satisfy your craving for knowledge. There are English courses, Film courses, Music courses, Theater courses, etc that you would take to make you a well rounded student.

So relax, there are courses that you will take when at college that will fix your thirst for knowledge.

You ought to decide wat you want to do, because College will change your life. But you can do anything you want. Think about going to the University of Phoenix, something that provides a wide array of different classes. And if you like learning but not-so-good, you should study a little harder. It'd be worth it, right? But focus on one thing before moving on to the other, the one important thing you want to do in life more then anything. Focus on that first.

College is a great experience and if you have a passion for knowledge you'll do great! The thing is.... you should take classes that will benefit your major. Focus on working towards your nursing degree if thats what you want to do. Try to space your sciences so you only take one lab a semester. Also, alot of people say 12units makes you a full time student but you actually need 15 if you want to graduate in time. You'll eventually need some electives and thats when you can take your singing class. And you'll be doing a lot of writing in your English classes!! Just have fun and work towards a goal try to take it one step at a time!
