Nursing/Medical Schools? |
Medicine is one thing im interested in and i wanna kno what colleges have a good nursing or medical program, whether of getting into a good college or a community college, i still wanna kno what kind of schools are out there that are good towards this career please help?! What state are you in? There are great schools in every state. As far as nursing programs look for a school that specifically offers nursing such as a state medical school or even your community college. For medicine to become a dr you can take your premed courses at most 4 year colleges. You'll have to get your bachelor of science and take the m cad which is an exam required for medical school. Medical school is another 4 years at a specific type of college. Many people apply to several medical schools all over the country hoping to be accepted to one. Without knowing anything about you I would recommend going to your community college and take your first year there until you know what you want to do. The first year will be classes like biology, anatomy, chemistry and microbiology. You can also talk to the advisers about transferring to a 4-year college later. talk to a counselor at the local community college. great career choice! Medical school I would have to say UCLA if you live in California. For nursing, any school is good to go to as long as they have a nursing program. There is a huge shortage of nurses so they are in demand right now so it doesn't matter what school you go to just as long as you have an RN license to work!! Do your research to find out what school program will work out best for you. Good luck! |
