Which has a high salary, a Nurse or a College Instructor/teacher? Im referring right there in the US.?

Im one curious filipino. If you know the average salary of the two, pls included them. thanks.

i would think a nurse. but i think that it depends on what type of teacher or nurse you are.

i can tell you my grandmother is a 2nd grade teacher she makes roughly 25k a year. my mother is a home health nurse, she makes roughly 35k a year.

nurse. $18/hr for those LVN only (California). How much more if you're an RN which is ranging from $25/hr for convalescent or home care and $35-47/hr for urgent care. Teachers usually tied their time in one institution whereas a nurse may have 2nd or 3rd job in a day because hospitals or healthcare facilities are 24 hours open 7 days a week unlike schools or academe where only bats and squirrels are workin during the night around the school.

an instructor has a good salary and great hours but working at a hospital pays much more especially weekend nights.

College Instructor's level of pay varies a great deal. I was considering becoming a college insturctor for a while. The pay varied from school to school at different institutions.

I know that the highest paid Professor at Denver University made 350K in 2003. But most don't make anywhere near that.

Nurses are in high demade, but so are teachers.
I would say a nurse makes more, unless your a college professor, not just an instructor.
