Information on nursing???? |
When in a Nursing course at the college level what courses can i expect to be on my schedule also can some one tell me how long it usually takes to get each degree attained I know yu cannot give a precise answer but how long do you expect it to take if i want to be an rn nurse? Associate degrees are generally 2 years and BSN degrees are generally 4. Well it depends on what degree you want. You can go for an R.N. license which is the equivalent of a 2 year associates degree. Or you can go for a BSN (bachelor's of science in nursing) which is a 4 year program. With the associates degree, you get more clinical experience while in school whereas in the 4 year program it's basically more theory and some clinical practice. You get more money starting off with the BSN (4yr) than with the associates. I am in the BSN program and will be graduating in spring 09. I will be starting my clinical classes in January. |
