Looking for scolarship or Grant money for 2 year RN nursing program?

I Have been accepted into Excelsior College 2 year Nursing Program, top of the class, no waiting!!!! 888-647-2388
7 Columbia Circle, Albany, NY 12203-5159 www.excelsior.edu
Am looking for all types of funding$$$ Scolarships, Grants any federal or state special programs, for re-payment of degree.

Congratulations on being accepted into the program! Nursing is one of the few college majors that there is a lot of financial help for the students in scholarships and even loan forgiveness programs. I will list some sources to locate money to attend the nursing program.

First, fill out the FAFSA form. It will tap into need based financial aid from the state and federal governments along with the college itself. The form becomes available on January 1 of each year. It needs to be done for your second year in the RN program.

Second, the college's financial aid office and website has a list of private scholarships offered from outside organizations and companies. Sometimes a college major's website will list scholarships, too.

Third, the public library has a book listing scholarships with some not even listed on the web.

Fourth, use Google.com and Yahoo.com to locate nursing scholarships and grants in your state. Sometimes it can be located by searching your state government website, too.

Finally, I recommend joining several free membership scholarship search websites. There are scholarships for a variety of things including ethnicity, clubs, hobbies, and even wearing duct tape to the high school prom. Most are updated on a regular basis. Most offer a customized search based on information entered onto a form on the website.

Good luck!
