Is this too good to be true? Nursing RN program in 2 yrs?

I want to become an anesthesiologist but was thinking of becoming a nurse first to get the money to pay for a bachelor of science degree.
This community college has a nursing RN program that can be completed in 2 yrs... does this mean I would have a nursing RN degree or is this just a prep course?

Thanks in advance! :-)

I became an RN with a two year associate degree from a community college. In NJ you have 3 options to choose from. A nursing school in which you have clinical in the hospital that the school is affiliated with and have classes at a local college. A community college, clinical at numerous off campus sites and lectures at the college. You will graduate with an A.A.S. in Nursing. A 4 year college or university with similar clinical experience and lecture as in a 2 year school. The only difference is you will have a bachelor's degree. Provided that you pass the NCLEX, you will allowed to practice as a RN. I love my job as a nurse in an ER. It a wonderful profession and I do not regret my decision to pursue a degree in the least. Next year, I will be starting classes to get my bachelor's and after that on to grad school. GOOD LUCK!

EDIT: The course that SUNYWCC is offering is a RN course. If you go full time you will graduate in 2 years with an AAS in Nursing.

They're talking about an AA degree. You need more than that to become a RN. What you want probably requires a 4 year degree.
