How many years of college do nurse practitioners and athletic trainers need?

i know that it takes 4 years to be a registered nurse...how bout an np and an athletic trainer??

To be a nurse practitioner you need to first get a bachelors of science in nursing then go to graduate school (to get your master of science in nursing). People with associate degrees will have to go back to college to get their BSN first. Different masters programs last different lengths. Many of the masters programs are 2 to 3 years.
Good Luck!

A NP is just a RN with advanced training....so, you can do it when you are taking the RN classes so 2-6(if you don't take them when you are doing your RN) years....depending if you plan to get your Associate or Bachelor Degree.
