Nursing career and psychology which one do you recommend for a college freshmen.pls read Add. info for this.?

which of this two carrer do you recommend in terms of salary and job opportunity. and completion on time.thanks in advance

In the US, the health care industry is desperate for enough nurses and their salaries are going up accordingly. It's a difficult job in many ways (sometimes intellectually, often emotionally, and surprisingly physically) but there are so many levels of nursing degrees that it is a fairly quick degree to obtain.
There are also increasing job prospects for counseling practitioners. I phrase it that way (instead of saying psychologists) because there are also several degrees that can get you to the goal of working with clients. In that sense, you don't need a Ph.D. which is a long, lengthy process (so the previous poster is wrong in that respect). There are several degrees that take about as long as nursing. It's also a difficult job intellectually, and not surprisingly emotionally. Good luck!

Well, they are both in the health profession so they are similar but yet vastly different. I would recommend that for your first year take classes that are useful - elements for your classes.
To be able to practice psychology - you need at LEAST a PhD. No less. That is 6-8 years of education. Nursing can either be your LPN or your RN - 2-4 years depending on what you what. One is a Bachelor and one is a degree. One you make more and have very similar job responsibilities.

Good Luck
