Question for Aussies (Melbourne): which Uni or College has a course for Mental Health Nursing?

please provide links

Historically nursing was split into various 'divisions' (eg General, Psychiatric, Intellectual Disability, Midwifery). Currently most universities offer a generalist nursing course with psychiatric nursing components, and nurses then specialise in the workplace, opting to work in the area of psychiatric nursing and pursue higher degrees in that area.

In terms of undergraduate degrees, nearly all universities in Victoria offer nursing. However, there is a new-ish degree at Monash offering a combination of nursing and psychology training (which may be especially useful in psychiatric nursing). LaTrobe offers a major in mental health (teaching more than just the requisite few weeks' worth of work).

In terms of postgraduate psychiatric nursing training, Melbourne, Monash, RMIT, Deakin and Latrobe offer Masters degrees with psychiatric specialisation.
