Do you go to College and then go to a Nursing school or can you just go right into a nursing school? You would go to a University or College that has a nursing program. You would have to take some general college classes like psycology and biology for a year or two, then apply to get into their nursing program. There are many technical schools and independent programs that offer nursing certifications without going to college. There are even some fast-track programs that take less time than conventional nursing schools. Just search online, the information is there. Nursing programs tend to be competitive. Depending on what school, they may use these things to rank students: GPA alone, lottery system, waiting list, or point system. |
