Looking for a liberal arts college that offers nursing in a warmer state... Anyone attend/know of one? |
I applied for some on the East Coast and am now doubting how much I would appreciate the cold... Looking for another in a warmer state that I could apply to, thanks! University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). We also have a four year medical college. The plus here is that you are on the border of Mexico and you will have unique experiences that are do not occur in the interior of the United States. This is the only place in the world where there is a third-world nation next to a first-world nation. It is mult-cultural, bilingual and you will encounter diseases and medical situations that are not common to the rest of the USA. Plus UTEP is student friendly. You may be able to do your nursing residency in Juarez, Mexico. If you are going to get unusual experience in Nursing, here is the place. I am not biased, am I? :-). Naw, it's a good school. Long Beach City College! Long Beach California! I'll bet there's a college in Florida that offers a nursing degree. San Diego State University has a good nursing program. |
