How does Boston College School of Nursing compare to other nursing schools?

How does Boston College School of Nursing compare to other nursing schools?

Boston College School of Nursing is a great nursing school because it offers a variety of different nursing programs and degrees. For example, there are baccalaureate, master and doctoral programs

The nursing programs offer a combination of scholastic research and study in a real-world nursing environment so that graduates feel prepared when entering the medical world. Curriculum is designed to develop a student's diagnostic, therapeutic and ethical reasoning in nursing practice to better prepare them for their career.

I believe that Boston College also helps with job placement after graduation, so it is definitely a great place to get your nursing education.

This is a helpful nursing school site that also provides a resource center to answer questions. Check it out:

It's really expensive.

If you can afford it (by the way, for nursing you'll get good financial aid), a BSN is always a good choice to enter the nursing field. The career options and advance educational options are plenty. You can easily apply for a MSN program for nurse practitioner, clinical nurse specialist, administrator, nurse educator, etc. Of course, you can go forward to get a doctorate (DNP, DNSc or PhD) in nursing.

Boston College is a good school. Comparing the nursing schools offering entry-level BSN in Boston, it is definitely a good school. Check out Northeastern University's BSN program. They have a direct entry-level BSN to MSN program. Compare costs too.

Very expensive. Please try: http://www.nursingmasters.com They have lots of good information on various nursing degrees both Bachelors and Masters
